Meet Our Team Dr. Ashok C. Shroff has been at the forefront in the field of ophthalmology and has been responsible for introducing many surgical techniques and modern technology in India. In recognition of his achievements and contributions towards modern ophthalmology, he was honoured with the prestigious ‘Padma Shree’ award in 1990. Dr. Rahul A. Shroff is a vitreo-retinal surgeon. His area of expertise lies in the management of retinal disorders such as retinal detachments, diabetic retinal involvement (diabetic retinopathy), age-related macular disorders [ARMD], retinal vascular disorders and vitreous surgery. His expertise stems from training he received at the renowned Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Dr. Anand A. Shroff is a pioneer in wavefront-guided LASIK laser vision correction. Trained in England, his area of specialization extends to the management of cataract, glaucoma and corneal disorders. Dr Abha Shroff is the Medical Director and is responsible for the organization’s overall day-to-day operations and ensures compliance with the quality program at Shroff Eye. She is also the Head of pathology of Disha Pathology Services, the pathology laboratory at Shroff Eye Hospital. Trained in ocular pathology and PCR techniques at the Duke University, Durham, North Carolina and Washington University at St.Louis, USA. Dr Safala Shroff is the Head of Administration and Human Resources Department. Apart from this she is also the counselor for refractive surgery (LASIK). Ms Suman Agarwal is the consultant nutritionist at Shroff Eye. Having obtained her training at the Oxford University, UK Ms Pragati Kadwe manages our Low Vision Aids Centre. She is trained at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. Ms Binal Savla oversees the contact lens clinic at Shroff Eye. She is an optometrist who has obtained special training at the LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India.
